Chrysler's Town & Country is the pinnacle of the company's minivan fleet. Designed to serve the needs of well-to-do families, the Town & Country is outfitted with the latest electronic features and conveniences, such as a rear-seat DVD player and power-operated doors. Thanks to its handsome exterior and well-established nameplate, the Town & Country is one of the few minivans that can be driven to the country club and not generate muffled laughter from the parking valets. Regrettably, although Chrysler invented the minivan segment, it no longer dominates the field. Minivans from Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Hyundai now rival, or best, the Town & Country in size, power and features, although none have yet copied Chrysler's innovative Stow `n Go second-row seating.

"The brakes on my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country vehicle began making noise in December 2010. I took my car in for an oil change on 01/13/10 at 9:25am and mentioned the brake noise to the service counter. At 11:50am, the oil change was done and the service employee, Chico, said that there was a "technical problem" with the brakes and that the rotors and pads needed to be replaced. I asked Chico if this was a recall problem and if so, why was I not notified. He said only technicians were notified of this problem. My car was ready at 1:19pm. I spent many hours at that particular location yesterday. If I had not brought this brake noise problem to the attention of the service counter, would my brakes simply have failed? Are there other 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Vans out on the road with similar brake problems? Are there any other "technical problems" that I, as a vehicle owner of one of these products, should know about before the warranty on this new car expires? The Chrysler website says: "No Incomplete Recalls or Customer Satisfaction Notifications Exist ""

"This is a reliable and comfortable car. We have only had to do routine maintenance. I cannot stress enough the utility of this vehicle. We use it for everything from cross country trips to moving furniture. The ability to roll down the back windows is a big improvement ion the old style. It has more than enough power for going up and down hills in the foothills where we live. I never thought I would love a mini-van, but I really love this vehicle."

"I love the functionality of the product. However the list of things that I've needed to have done to this vehicle in the short time that I've owned has me confident that this is the last Chrysler product that I will ever own. Most recently I was told that it is acceptable that the vehicle can lose up to a quart of oil per 1000 miles driven. When I go to change oil and the oil pan collects only a half quart of oil."
