I own this car - My approximate mileage is 151,000

Pros: "has room smooth ride and comfort"

Cons: "paint job peeling on front and top hoods"

"loved almost everything about this vehicle. smooth ride plenty of room for 6 or 7 people plus storage in back and on top. the one thing with the mileage on it was having transmission problems."

184K miles And still Runs Like a dream

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 184,000

Pros: "Excellent Fuel mileage, Comfort beyond belief"

Cons: "Does Not hold a value for trade in Like it should"

"Yes After fixing a design flaw my Van is In Like New condition the paint is still glossy and the ride confortable, Chrysler Customer Support However Is Like talking to a brick wall They built this vehicle and Dont want to accept responsibility for their design flaws But Im now at 184K miles she still runs beautifully But im trading her in for something newer Hopefully whomever gets her will fall in love with a van that will run for another 13 years What seems a shame is for such a great vehicle dealers dont really want to pay you anything for them insted they want to use black book and give you 70% less then Blue Book Prices Dealers should pay you what its worth and NOT use some out of touch Book price."

Chrysler - Town and Country - LX

Pros: "3,000$"

Cons: "Brake Shift Interlock"

"Out of all the minivans that I have ever driven town and country has got to be the best. The past minivans that i have rode in would be a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and a Ford Windstar 2003 but when i started to ride in this for a rode trip i was comfortable the entire ride. Their is nothing better then town and country. Personally the seats are outstanding (Cloth Seats Recommended). Awesome Sliding Doors. I love that even that it's and old minivan the sound system for the radio is outstanding but when it comes to family transportation for a vacation our gas tank was still at full. 17 mpg is the city. 25 mpg on the hwy. Awesome gas mileage from cecil county maryland to williamsburg, virginia. nothing like having great air conditioning. Although I was not expecting something suprising when i figured something out on youtube. I found a video on youtube call "Danger Chrysler Minivans" and it didn't include a safety feature called brake shift interlock which allows you to shift the car into whatever gear for an automatic which my vehicle didn't have "Brake Shift Interlock". I was mad at chrysler but you know just because it didn't have this safety feature the minivan itself does the trick for family transportation. If you looking further and you have a huge family Town and Country 1988-2013 are the best models to go. I recommend that you buy it because it is the best minivan for you."

wish I could find another

Pros: "This LXI is three times better then present car."

Cons: "Electrical is driving me mad"

"Bought this mini van new from Ahl Chrysler. Vary little trouble. Changed oil an filter every 3,000 miles and trans filter an oil every 50,000 miles. Coil pack....fuel pump changed by warranty 71,000 miles Changed superintend belt at 171,000 and left drive axle Changed struts-front at 190,000 miles At 220,000 miles started electrical problems Remember this has original engine and transmission. Body has rotted out due to being from Ohio, we moved south after retirement."
