I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000overall rating 3 of 10rating details
Pros: "fun to drive, turns heads, girls love it, nice mpg"
Cons: "breaks down a lot, no full size spare"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I have had mine six months, and it has junked a new battery, needed an alternator, needed a starter, and bent a rod. I love this car, I really do, but don't buy one. She is a money pit like no other car I have ever owned. I don't wear her out. I keep her slow and baby her, but she keeps letting me down. Very fun to drive. It's a very smooth ride, handles well, and the interior is nice. It's fun to let the top down and take it for a spin when the sun is out, but it's not worth the headaches. Also last but not least, if you do have anything major go wrong with the car, it is such a pain to work on a lot of mechanic shops won't even touch it. I had 4 turn me down when I needed the rod fixed. I ended up finding a guy that would do it in exchange for handyman services. All in all, they are wonderful somewhat sporty, somewhat luxurious, and still economic cars, but you might as well take the couple grand you would put into this (and quite possible the couple more you would put into repairing it in the near future) and buy something else. I know I would if I could."

I owned and sold this car
Reason: upgraded to newer Honda w/more features
Pros: "great price, nice look, comfortable"
Cons: "Brake line failed, needed repressure $150 cost"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5
"This car is a solid car with a good engine. None of the complex or esoteric engine problems of a no-name like a Suzuki or Mitsubishi. Easy to find parts for it, easy to find repairmen when something broke (over 12 years very little broke, and nothing broke that rendered it un-drivable, in that same time period). Brakes never totally failed, but one line (rear driver's) needed to be replaced. Fuse blew on dash light, but that didn't effect drivability for me, and was a cheap fix. If you can get a same-year Toyota Camry, Ford Focus, or a Honda Civic for the same price (which you can, if you try hard and act fast enough), do it. Otherwise, this car is an often overlooked workhorse."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 90,000overall rating 9 of 10rating details
Cons: "paint fell off too soon, roof bald after 4 years"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"A great work car, operated flawlessly for 90K and still going. A bit cramped for big people in front; v. little back seat space. Back seat folds down in halves, doubles trunk. Handles a bit heavy but holds corners well and nimble with effort in traffic. Classic timeless design, cool "jet engine" oval grill. A rocket at highway speeds, comfortable on longer trips. Center console a bit awkward to get into. I love this car."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 108,000overall rating 9 of 10rating details
Pros: "really fun especially on a nice sunny day"
Cons: "small dent in fender"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have a complete maintance record for the car it looks like it just came off the show room floor. The color is Inferno Red it has a small dent in the pass side rear fender less than 500 to repair has new Chrysler trans with 2 year warranty. New tires, new brakes, new battery,Bra. in front. If something squeaked it got oiled. I would like to buy a jeep so I can tow behind a motor home."

"Over eight years I've never had to take this car in for a problem, just regular maintenance (oil, filters, tires, brakes). It gets decent mileage 26-28/mpg. I bought it a year old w/45K miles."
