Pros: "plenty of room with good gas mileage"

Cons: "door openings are on the short side,"

"I bought this car new in 2007 and it has never let me down. I drive A LOT! All day, every day frequent long trips and quick trips to town. This vehicle is comfortable and seats up to 6. Middle row is very comfortable, back is a little cramped for adults, but great for kids. Drives great even off road, we live on a farm. The only place I had problems was the pulling the boat out of the water on a very sandy beach, this had more to do with the ground clearance than the power of the car. Great gas mileage for the power, avg 22 in town and have gotten up to 30 on trips, depending on how I drive."

Pros: "Ride Quality, Interior Comfort, Climate Control"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"My 2005 FWD Touring has been in service since January of 2005 without a single mechanical problem. It is by far the most comfortable car I've ever driven, having owned Acuras, Hondas and an Audi. The captain's chairs have been a joy to both kids and elderly parents. Standard dash instruments like a compass and outside temperature proved really helpful; I wouldn't want a new car today without them. The climate control system is outstanding - set and forget. The separate fan control for the middle row was always a hit with passengers. Overall, there is a genuinely upscale feeling to the interior. Ride quality is superb: very quiet, forgiving and with surprisingly agile handling for such a large vehicle. The traction control system is outstanding in winter; I've never been stuck in the snow. ParkSense is an option I didn't seek out, but have come to appreciate and rely on; it makes parallel parking in places like NYC or Boston no more difficult than with a midsized sedan. Autostick was something I thought was included for the sheer fun factor, however, for winter driving on mountainous roads, it provides a real sense of control and security. With the middle and rear seats folded down, we have been able to carry two bicycles along with luggage for athletic road trips. Cargo space has always been more than ample, though the rear (3rd row) seats need to be down in order to accommodate large boxes. The exterior has weathered quite well considering that it hasn't been garaged. I wax it twice a year, realizing that car care enthusiasts consider that insufficient. The finish exhibits less than average wear and tear for a 2005. Chrysler lost an easy replacement sale when they discontinued the Pacifica. Its competitors at the time, the Freestyle and Pilot, had interiors with a cheap appearance and they rode with either a truck or van like feel. Whenever the time comes, I would certainly have replaced it with another Pacifica if they were still being built."

"LOVE the interior room...my husband is 6'5, plenty of leg room and wide. LOVE the ride...quiet, smooth Decent gas mileage Very comfortable to drive or as passenger with all the automatic adjustments you can make Extremely reliable I have owned my car since 2006 and have put on 161,000 miles...it gets lots of road time Minor maintenance. I'm embarrassed to say that i only give my car one or two oil changes a year, which i know is BAD, but this car has performed like a dream. Actually, not fond of the exterior design, but, it doesn't matter to me because it has been such a good car. I cannot believe they stopped making this vehicle, with the overall rating it has AND the top safety features."

Pros: "roomy"

Cons: "don't last long"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"i love the way it drives and handles. it holds my large family (my son is 6'3"). the ride is great. But once the electrical system starts failing it gets scary and expensive. The gas mileage is hard to swallow. They don't hold their value at all. If your thinking about getting one I would not suggest it. I'm sure there are better cars out there."
