Pros: "Fun to drive, good fuel economy for a sports car."

Cons: "Misunderstood by many who haven't driven it."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought my 2005 Crossfire Limited Coupe in 2013 with 37000 kms. It is like new. The car is a real head turner and not like the cookie cutter cars one sees these days. The car should be described as a three door as these cars have a convenient hatchback. The car was made in Onasbruck, Germany - not the U.S. as described. The car was a joint venture between Chrysler/Daimler. The engine, transmission, running gear and all components are German/Mercedes. In fact, the interior is taken from the SLK Mercedes as well as the running gear. The only thing U.S. about this car is the Chrysler label on it - but Karmann in Germany (of Karmann Ghia) designed the body. Everything on this car is German, inside and out. If you take it to a Chrysler dealer they cannot work on it. It must be taken to someone who understands vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW, VW. It is a comfortable car and gas mileage is very reasonable. Steering is amazing even at 130 kms. Lap times with this car, which is designed to run on German Autobahns, is very fast with speeds up to 160kms reached with stable steering. The car has two different size tires; 18" on the front and 19" on the rear, which provides excellent traction and speed. This car will not burn rubber but takes off like a shot. Quiet engine and smooth shifting with my automatic tranny makes it a joy to drive. Infinity stereo/CD is excellent. Leather seats have heaters; car is equipped with AC as well which works like a charm. The car is easy to park as it is small. Expect to pay more for any repairs, as it is a Mercedes, not a Chrysler. I have driven many cars in my half century and this is one heck of a car. I would value it way more than what it is valued on Blue Books or Black Books which we have here in Canada. It is a very misunderstood car. Before you judge it, take one for a spin. You'll be hooked! I plan to keep mine forever."

Pros: "Cool little car for a younger man or woman"

Cons: "No cons I loved it every time I go in it."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought the car because I love the look and the way it drove. I had always wanted a sports car. I didn't want to put to many miles on it so it has set more than I drive it on the carport and garage since I have owned it. It's a great little car but I'm getting older now and its hard to get in and out of. Plus being 6'4 I'm a little big for the car. Actually I hate to sell it but It's not doing me any good just setting. I would rather someone have it that would drive it."

"Mercedes engineering, build, and reliability with American body design. Supercharged performance, racing suspension with 52-48 balance and unbelievable exceleration to top gear redline. Extremely affordable...perfect speciality machine to be driven and enjoyed. Those of us who own them are happy there is no high demand for them. Overall, what's not to like!"

"built on the same assembly line as the SLK cars in Europe, it shares lots of parts with its Mercedes counterpart, including the sweet 3.2 L mercedes engine."
