"This car is an absolute winner! Performance is great, relibility is great! lots of fun to drive. driving exelence of a mecerdes with out the big cost. only 215 hp but runs like a 300 hp! only car I have ever owned that you could pull in automatic/manual trans back into 3 gear at 70mph and it will pull you back in the seats with accerlation. it is a shame theses cars quit being built, it is a true masterpiece of german (mercedes) workmanship and quialit."

"This is a woman's car. sporty, beautiful, and fast. Who wouldn't want to cruise down the beach highway with the top down? By far the best car I have ever owned. Also the most fun to drive. This is/was my mid life crisis car. I'm going to drive it until the wheels fall off."

Pros: "everything!"

Cons: "non"

"I am amazed every time I drive it. After 18 months I have changed the oil, and some lights...that's it! It is quiet, smooth, powerful...the perfect vehicle. The top works beautifully, and it's sharp-looking. I get all kinds of comments on it. It has all the bells and whistles, both fun and for safety. I consider it my last car. After owning almost everything up to now (26 vehicles) I can easily say it blows them all out of the water. I sometimes just go for a drive along our waterfront, because it's so much fun to drive!"

Cons: "Pricey maintenance, tires"

The Crossfire will improve the look of your driveway in one step.

"Every time I drive my graphite gray Crossfire, heads turn and people gawk at the sleek styling and impressive performance. I always get thumbs up from the guys in valet parking as well as smiles from envious neighbors with generic minivans. The out-of-the-ordinary Crossfire is really fun to drive especially on two-lane roads. I drove it on a trip across the North Cascades Highway to Eastern Washington and had a thrill of a lifetime. Its excellent handling and superb driving dynamics excel on such a scenic road course. The Karmann factory in Osnabruck Germany really put this vehicle together with a fine wrench and European quality. Just a couple of very minor items have ever needed attention. It's still as tight and fit as the day I drove it home. Maintenance isn't cheap with synthetic oil changes (8 quarts) running more than $120 and air pressure monitors costing just this side of the moon! Luckily, the Crossfire has been nearly trouble free. I upgraded to Michelin all-season tires that far out perform the original-equipment Continental summer tires. Because of the 18" front and 19" rear wheels, you cannot rotate the tires so they last only 30K. The Crossfire performs rather well in the Pacific Northwest rain on the W setting but it's better in the garage in the wintertime than on the icy roads. Too much V6 torque can be a challenge unless you desire to carve doughnuts in a closed parking lot. Then, it's a kick in the pants."

Pros: "Fun to drive"

Cons: "No practical cup holders."

"Reasonable power, although less than most sports cars. 0 to 60 in 6.4 seconds. I have had muscle cars before and they had more power than you can reasonably use on the roads of America. One cornered beautifully and when my son was following in his Trans Am, I lost him on every corner. But this car corners like nothing I've ever seen or driven. You do not need to use the brakes for a corner. It is amazing. I will never get rid of this car: it is perfect for the winding hill country roads of Texas!"
