"It has been a reliable car for us for 7 years and has a lot of cargo space so it's helpful for moving stuff around, camping, and road trips. On the down side, it is very inefficient with fuel. Around town we get 9-11 MPG. On the open road, about 18-19 is as good as it gets if you keep it at around 70 MPH."
"Just follow the maintenance schedule, wash it weekly, drive easy . Mileage in the city is low, for some reason this vehicle seems to want to go for another 200,000 miles. I might just find out. I change the oil every 3000 miles and that is about it for cost apart from the big maintenance which is every 50, 000 miles. I have a bad back and the heated seat is wonderful."
Pros: "Affordable, i love to drive it, looks so nice"
Cons: "gas mileage"

"I am extremely happy with my Aspen. It looks good it holds up good, it rides nice. I love the size. I can fit 7 people in it comfortably and it's not huge to drive like a bus. It is very manageable. I love the back up camera. The only thing I didn't like was the gas mileage. I usually drive around town a lot of stop and go's so I don't get very good gas mileage. Maybe 9.5 MPG but highway is closer to 16 mpg. My family drove over 300 miles recently and it only used 3/4 of a tank. I was impressed. I guess that's why they quit making them because everything else is wonderful!!!"
"Towes my 5000 lbs. trailer all over 9 states and gets 24 mpg as long as i use cruse control at 69 mph any higher doesn't stay in 4 cal.mode when in trailer mode doesn't use 4 cyl. mode but still gets 15 mpg at 70 mph. My grandchildren always ask to go in my car for the movies.no issues but have always changed oil every 3000 miles and pump 4 qts. transmission fluid using marine electric oil pump. add acetone to gas 4 oz. every tank full of regular to burn off carbon buildup and raise octane level. I will tell you I'm a college engineer that was a line mechanic for a large chevy dealership and race nostalgia super stockers.I am 75 years old and have held numerous titles in drag racing since the late 50's till today still racing.I raced the 409 chevy, 426 thunderbolt fords(factory sponsored) and for the last 25 years a 1965 Dodge Hemi .You Chevy lovers should stop bad mouthing Chrysler as you don,t know what your talking about criticizing after a 5 min. test ride try to get a chevy to last 100,000 miles then talk"
