"i bought my van in 2011, and it's a 2001. it had 86K on it, everything original. so of course i've had to replace several things but nothing i wouldn't have expected. the parts are fairly inexpensive, and easy to fix."

Pros: "great van"

Cons: "getting old"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I work on cars for a living, so I'm somewhat biased by the things I've seen. However, as vehicles go, other than a problem with the intake manifold gasket, which is not uncommon to the 3.4L, and the eventual TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) problem, which is also, unfortunately, not uncommon to this particular transmission, it has been a very solid and dependable vehicle. Frankly, if they still built vehucles like this, the manufacturers would have gone out of business, as they would sell one, and never another."

"This was my Father-one-Laws Van. There has always been some type of problem with this Van. My Father-in-Law did a lot of fixing him self. Now that he has passed away I am stuck with getting it fixed for my Mother-in-Law. Just put 1200 into it a month and half ago, and now looking to replace the Rack and pinion steering for 950!! Getting really tired of dumping money into this Van. I Have never had good luck with GM products, have had all makes and models!!"

Pros: "multi uses amazing fuel mileage"

Cons: "track control tune ups"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I have had this van for 6 years now. I got it when my grandma said she didn't want it anymore it had 150,000 on it. 255,000 on it now and it still starts. in the winter of 2013-14 when it was -40 here it started up on the first try. This van has some great driving dynamics a powerful engine that does not disappoint. My fuel mileage is about 29-35 The only thing that I have encountered that I do not like is the drive train. All wheel drive would have been the best thing for this van. Tune ups are time consuming when you do have to change the plugs and wires put 100,000 mile performance plugs on it makes it more efficient."

Pros: "Fits lots of people and lots of luggage!"

Cons: "The transmission on a chevy usually doesn't blow"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"This van was great until the transmission blew at 33,000, right after the warranty expired. The comfort is great. The plastic interior parts however are not constructed with any plan for long term, family use."

Pros: "very comfortable and convenient interior"

Cons: "front end tends to plow- head gaskets replaced"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"this vehicle has been a good car for us. Gets decent gas mileage and the all-wheel drive has been a great option to have on the car. the premium cloth seats are still in excellent condition after many years. If i had one complaint, id say the car tends to plow when cornering. the front end just cant handle too much speed on tight turns."
