"I'm so sad that Chevrolet stopped making the Venture Van. I would buy another one without hesitation. It has taken us to Mexico, Canada, Florida, Southern CA, Washington. It has moved our kids over long distances - some of them twice. It has been a great car - all 221,000 miles."
Pros: "Holds up well to adverse conditions, reliable"
Cons: "Cheap plastic interior and hardware"

"We purchased this used at the last minute and I'm guessing we put 25k miles on it... It now has almost160k. Its not too bad on gas. It's been on some occasional rough sandy dirt roads down in Los Cabos, Mexico for 2 yrs, and was smashed in the passenger side (doors amazingly held up!). So it faired well all things considering, but the interior plastic dash was cracked when we got it (and now it's cracked everywhere), the glove compartment door broke off the hinge soon after, and in fact, every cute little compartment door in the van broke at the hinges. So rhe plastic interior is its least best feature. Other than that I do have to say it held up pretty well under the conditions and the engine seems to still be doing well. Maybe we haven't reach the stage yet for the big costly common things to happen with Venturas, but at this point I'm impressed, but seriously doubting it would be capable to exceed the miles on my Toyota Previa (which was running like a champ at 350k - until my husband drove it thru a river arroya in Mexico!)"
Pros: "Very dependable. This is a " must see " van"

"Purchased new and has had excellent care. Every service record is available.
Very dependable, never had a starting or drive train problem. Power side doors ( both sides ) are great, they add easy entrance and egress.
If they still made a Venture van I would buy one tomorrow."
Pros: "love driving it, plenty of room, family vehicle"
Cons: "hard to find tires"

"i bought my van in 2011, and it's a 2001. it had 86K on it, everything original. so of course i've had to replace several things but nothing i wouldn't have expected. the parts are fairly inexpensive, and easy to fix."
