"Few mechanical issues until just recently. First 150,000 almost no problems. Performed regular maintenance. Tranny went out after 150K, but mechanic thought it was due to driving into the wind much of the time. Engine strong, but uses about 1/2 to 3/4 quart oil between oil changes. Drive mostly highway. Had to use cruise control because would not notice if going 80 mph, because of smooth ride. Pretty comfortable for family of seven even when kids started getting big. Little issues with cd player and electronic key system. I really like this mini van, it has lasted a long time and got us through Montana winters with good front wheel drive."
"I have had this car for quite some time and all I want to do is get rid of it. Since our purchase in 2005, we have had to have work done on the transmission, the rear seat does not fold up and we have no idea what's wrong with it, the transmission slips constantly causing the car to violently jolt whenever I accelerate after being stopped, the paint flakes, everything in the interior breaks, the MANUAL sliding door is broken and takes all muscle capability, and the power locks are broken. The safety features are atrocious and almost nonexistent on this and I don't trust it to save my life in a crash. I am very dissatisfied with the 2006 Uplander and I want it to finally die soon."
Pros: "seats 7 or hauls lots of stuff - easy to see out"
Cons: "Cruise control works but needs to be "played with""

"Never had any problems with this car. Love the way it sits and rides. I drive over 800 miles every time I see my children and they think I should have something with less mileage so they don't worry about a breakdown when I'm that far away from anyone that could help."
