"Just completed a 1600 mile trip and averaged 27 miles per gallon. I am a large person and the car has plenty of room for me and all our luggage. Would reccomend this to anyone who wants a relible, solid, and fun to drive car."
Cons: "Need a ladder to wash top and front windshiled"

"I have owned this vehicle for 2 years and love driving it. Handles well and comfortable on long trips. The backup camera and parking assistance make it easy to parallel park and back into parking spaces. I purchased Onstar and feel it is a good value for the money. The power rear liftgate make it a breeze to get your goods in the car and get out of inclement conditions quickly. I have recommended this to a couple of my friends and they ended up purchasing one too. They are as satisfied as I am."
"I have always had 4WD and had to step down. I do love everything about the Traverse except maybe the dash items. I have all of the bells and whistels but the clock is inconvenient and too small when you have the navigation or radio info on. the compass is VERY difficult to see at a glance and only on when the nav is on. the outside temp is only where the driver can see it and only on a specific view of options. otherwise, AWESOME!!!"
"We love our Traverse- fits 6 adults and 2 adults/5 kids comfortably! The side camera in camera is key to driving safely in traffic and the interior has held up wonderfully w/ 2 kids.
The ONLY negative is gas mileage. We get about 16.7 miles per gallon, which isn't bad for a crossover though not easy on the wallet."
"I LOVE this vehicle! Captain's chairs in the middle slide back and forth for more/less leg room. Plenty of room in 3rd row. Tight steering. Much better gas mileage than my 07 Tahoe. I like the back-up camera but need to get used to using it. It's a little shorter in height than my Tahoe, which means it will fit in my garage. Definitely recommend this vehicle!"
"The car is very nice my only complaint is the transmission. Due to the torque converter it is a bit sluggish. With that aside it is a great CUV. Our gas millage has been around 19-20MPG ours is AWD. We love all the features the LTZ comes with we also have the Dual moon roofs, and DVD player, It would be kinda nice if the rear moon roof opened. I would highly recommend the Chevy to anyone."
"it has served its purpose with dependability, comfort, and 24mpg.the grandkids enjoy watching their movies.the Bose system is great, its an attractive suv with more than enough power to do whatever you need,as a family vehicle.with remote start its nice to get in on those cold mornings with the heated seats and dual climate control.color is red jewel matallic with grey leather interior, with dual sunroofs."
"Wanted an eight passanger SUV for grandkids and families to go places. This has met the need very well. Good gas mileage for this size vehicle. My is getting the advertized 24 on the hwy. Great acceleration and good ride. Love it!!!"
"Real nice vehicle but rides a little rough. I do not have the second row captin seats but if you have children in a child seat you will want captin seats since it is a real hassle to fold the seat down to allow others in the 3rd row with a car seat in the way."
"We owned 2 Tahoes previously. So far this Traverse is absolutly wonderful. drives smooth, awesome traction, very comfortable. Had reservations not buying another Tahoe, but we are very impressed so far."
Cons: "no power under the hood and horrible gas mileage"

"leased this turned in our 09 suburban which got 22 mpg this thing gets 18 mpg and you can watch the gas gauge move not enough power to get out of it's own way can't wait for the 3 years to be up so we can get rid of this thing"
"While shopping for a family car for 5, we tried to avoid a minivan and bought the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse. Love most things about it, except lack of cargo space. Only enough for a large grocery trip. Headrests are a pain, and touch screen is too sensitive. Really like everything else. We bought the model with the second row captain's chairs so access to the third row seat is great."
Pros: "Reliability, gas consuption, 7 years without any p"
Cons: "No power seats, and not easy to move back seats."

"I want to update it, so we will buy 2017 model.
In 7 years we never had any problem. It is a very safe car, very smooth to drive.
The only negative would be that it is not comfortable to move the back seats to reach the 3rd line. If you have kids and need it, it is not comfortable. Of course if you see it in the dealer will work great, but using it, just the carpet that moves, or a coin gets inside, or a little object and you have a problem. But not terrible. We would like to have the same car with power seats next time. But not sure if "Full traverse" comes with power seats.
Still a great car, great relation price / quality. We totally recommend."
"I have the 2011 Chevy Traverse. I have kept he oil serviced properly. At 168,000 miles the engine has thrown a rod and it will take $7800 to have it rebuilt. The value of the vehicle is only $5000 and that's if the engine was running. What do I do with this situation? I would not advise a person buy the Traverse."
"I REALLY WAS LOOKING FOR A TAHOE BUT IT WAS JUST TO EXPENSIVE FOR MY BUDGET, SO WHEN I SAW THE TRAVERSE I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH IT
ITS A PERFECT SIZE FOR MY FAMILY, IT RUN GREAT AND ITS NOT AS BAD ON GAS LIKE A TAHOE
I LOVE THE DECISION THAT I TOOK
AND ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY JUST LOVE THE VEHICLE AS WELL.
I RECOMMEND THIS VEHICLE TO ANYONE!!"
"I've been used to traditional full size SUV's so I was somewhat reluctant of moving to a crossover, but after almost three years of ownership I have been pleased with what our Traverse can do. I is much larger inside than it appears from the outside. The only down side is that once in a while the V6 could use a little more power."
