Pros: "Economical, comfortable, reliable"

Cons: "No place to put my purse!"

"Like the 2005 so much we purchased a 2009 as well. Can't understand why Chevrolet quit making this vehicle. The 6 cylinder engine provides plenty of power without the excessive fuel usage."

Pros: "great price, long lasting, great power at 6cyl"

Cons: "They have been discontinued :("

"I purchased my 2002 LS in 2003 with @ 30k miles; the previous owner had it 2 years before me. I maintained regular service on it and took care of it and in turn, this Trailblazer gave me excellent service for 10 years and good service this year (in 2014). The leather and carpet still look brand new. It is just now giving me some issues that I've had to fix i.e. fuel pressure regulator, throttle body, catalytic converter. Now, it is time to get something else and am underwhelmed in finding something comparable. I have a pretty base model, but I do have leather seats. Not only am I NOT finding mid-sized SUV's, but leather seats is so hard to come by (seems to be reserved for limited editions in each brand). There are small SUV's and crossovers...both sit lower than my Trailblazer. I have to go large size just to stay sitting at the same height! I do get the advantages of the smaller builds, but there should be height requirements to be considered an SUV. I didn't realize just how good I've had it until now. She will be hard to replace."

Pros: "luxury ride, very reliable, powerful engine"

Cons: "None. Love it!"

"I love my Trailblazer! I've got it new in 2005 and now have about 112K miles on it. Had no problems. Original breaks lasted 110K!! Engine still works as new! It still has a "luxury car" ride which I have been enjoying for all these 9 years. Love it! This SUV is built to last. It handles anything with ease. Very reliable. Love it!"

"engine, transmission, electrical, fuel gauge, brake component trouble. The worst car I ever owned. I'll never buy another chevy product. I was a loyal costumer for 20 years. Never again"

Pros: "great in the snow, no mechanical issues"

Cons: "Slow pickup, breaks need replacement every 5 yrs."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I've had this Trailblazer for 9 years and I am the original owner, and I love it. Other than the breaks and tires having to be changed every five years (which is to be expected with all the snow and salt on the roads during the winters in NY) this car hasn't given me a lick of mechanical problems. If it wasn't for the age of the car I would be keeping it. I wish Chevy still made this because if they did I would buy another one in a heartbeat."
