"This SUV has been amazing. I changed oil every 6000 and had tranny serviced at 50 to 60000 miles. Have towed enclosed trailer many times and never had a single problem. Car has never been to a dealer for any service and runs perfect.
I did have hood and roof repainted because it sits outside in SoCal sun. Car has always been in alignment and tire wear is very good.
I can't believe the BRAKES!!! I still Have NOT changed the Brake PADS!!!
If your looking for a cheap large SUV I would recommend this one. my phone is sevenonefour eightfoursix fivefourtwozero"
"I told my wife we shouldn't buy this in 05(I'm a Ford guy)Boy was I wrong, 292000 miles later still going strong. 2 water pumps, 3 brake jobs (ready for 4th) and three sets of tires. I would buy another today if they were reasonable with there pricing!"
"This is my second Tahoe. I owned a 2002 LS, and had to get rid of it for financial reasons. I cried when i did, it ran great, had it for 4 yrs, and NO mechanical issues, just routine maintenance. I now own a 2005 Z71, fully loaded, i bought it used 1 1/2 yrs ago. I can't say enough good things about this vehicle. It's worth every penny i paid for it. Wish i could afford a newer one, I'd have one."
Pros: "A truck, suv and van rolled into one and awsome to"
Cons: "better mpg"

"As always chevy Tahoe LT and the 5.3 great combo. Very roomy and take out the 2nd row seats and lay back and watch a movie on the DVD player with rear control ac. Pleasure to travel in would be nice to get better mpg but I got a Bully Dog tuner and get about 23 mpg highway and 17 city. No need for 4x4 with the option of the G80 Eaton locking rear end. It is a van, suv, and truck rolled into one Truck. I have owned over 30 Chevy and GMC Trucks, Tahoe's and Yukon's and no problems. My Tahoe LT 2wd has 233000miles and my Z71 has 155000. Thanks Chevy GMC."
"I bought this Tahoe 2 years ago used from a dealer in town. I was trading in my van. I was never a van person but they were handy with smaller children and comfortable. With teens I wanted a little more sporty not mommy. We got a great deal on it but should have thought longer on it and test drove it longer. After just 2 road trips traveling the state for sports we wish we had something else. The kids hate the back seats. They are straight up and no way to recline at all. They cannot sleep in them without laying side ways on top of one another. The hate riding with us when they want to just sleep coming home. Good room for luggage bags ect but guess not the kids."
