"I put 300,000 miles on my '95 Tahoe with no work needed to the engine or transmission. The rear end was replaced at 260,000 and the A/C compressor stopped working about the same time, but other than that only normal maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires etc.) was needed. The Chevy 350 was a great engine."
"This truck is a work horse. It has 150,000 miles on it and has never needed any major work done. It's been through 10 years of hard winters and harder working summers. The four wheel has never had any trouble and still works great. The engine and transmission run strong even after miles and miles of towing. The exterior and interior have held up great with little maintenance. To top it all off I just moved from the east coast to the west using it. It hauled everything from my house packed in it and on top, while towing a car with even more stuff packed into it. It had no trouble with the trip even when climbing two mountain ranges, and this is all with 147,000 miles on it."
"I have a 1999 Tahoe. It has never left us sitting, can run with the big boys and even the hot rods of our area, and still has an incredible paint job that makes folks take a second look. I would love a new one, but 'Big Red' is paid for, and I don't desire more payments until I have to."
