My 2004 Chevy Suburban 2500 has been a joy to drive for work and pleasure!

"I purchased this Chevy Suburban 2500 brand new from a Chevrolet dealer in 2004, so this is a one owner vehicle. I have owned previous SUV's including a Chevy Blazer, Dodge Durango and a Toyota Sequoia before purchasing the Suburban 2500. It was the smartest decision I ever made. I love driving this vehicle. A comfort to drive, it provides a very firm and responsive ride and the power of the the 6.0, 325 HP engine is amazing when passing on the interstate. The 37 gallon fuel tank gives me about 495 mile range in highway driving. That's not so bad for a big SUV. I love the cargo space after removing the third seat and it can carry a heavy load with ease. The original disk breaks have lasted the 93,480 miles that I have put on the vehicle. I have never had any major mechanical problems with this Suburban. It's the best car I've ever owned!"

"If not for having to replace the transmission at 99,000 miles, an alternator that created a buzz through the radio, and brakes that seem to last only 20,000 miles i would rate higher. Rides smooth, hauls any load, lots of power, and fairly good mileage when towing."

Pros: "Not enough space"

Cons: "Fule pump in gas tank"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Got this Suburban to replace the smaller Yukon and haven't been disappointed yet. Tows like an 18 wheeler(large 2 horse trailer and 2 very heavy horses). Have a small sports car very fun to drive, but the suburban is what we take trips in...its too comfortable not to take it, and we feel much safer in the truck"

2001 suburban LS 1500 with 4wd tow package alloy wheels

"i think of this as a truck because of the frame and engine at this high of miles it starts to have minor leaks but it always fires up great in snow and great to haul stuff around and nice look or curb appeal the engine is powerful for a smaller V8 its a nice truck and really dependable towing about 8000 pounds through the mountains it did great this is really a great hauling truck and truck for big families or just travelers"
