Pros: "Head turner. Fun to drive. Convertible pickup."

Cons: "Expensive. Heavy, Cab narrow. Body parts scarce."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Daily driver checking construction sites. Have used regular gas since new. In early years drove 20,000 miles per yr. Lately not so many. Gets better gas milage than last 4.3 Chevy we owned. Have just purchased low milage, garaged 04 SSR for pleasure driving. It is supercharged and a blast to drive."

Pros: "attention getter & fund to drive"

Cons: "overheats, rear tires are expensive"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this car used in 2010 & have put 50,000 miles on it since then. It's been on several road trips (obviously), and is my daily ride as well. It's extremely comfortable for long trips. The BOSE sound system rocks! My only problems with this car are the costs associated with replacing rear tires (approx $400 each) and the fact that it tends to overheat in traffic if the temp is over 60 deg. F. Oh, and the cost of the hydraulic fluid for the top (it's a specialty dealer item) is like $50/pt!!!! It's actually cheaper from an Audi dealer than a Chevy dealer! Unless you change wheel size, there's no spare because the front tires are a different size from the back. I'm considering selling it, but only because I need the money, not because I'm dissatisfied with it."

Pros: "Fun to drive; proud to own"

Cons: "Can't access seat controls with doors closed."

Sharp design

"Love this truck! Sporty convertible; easy push one button to put top up and down; seats you higher for excellent visibility; wide doors for easy entrance and exit; roomy covered truck bed for cargo (groceries or luggage), sharp looking body design; brilliant "slingshot yellow" makes it easy to spot in a parking lot or on the street; engine has plenty of power to merge in traffic; and built by Chevrolet, a name you can trust."

Pros: "Unique - Rare"

Cons: "19" and 20" tires"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought new and finally have my title after 6 years. I love the pep and handling. Had several issues with over heating, but a dealer finally solved that problem. Other than that, I have been very happy and have a ride that most don't see that often on the road. I still get the "nice car" comments and stares while driving. I got lucky and got mine when there was 0% financing for 1 week in '06. Sure wish parts were more readily available, but would do it all over again in a heartbeat."

"Very fun to drive, draws many looks and questions as "What is it"? Diffinite competitor in the car show-n-shines. One of the best cruizing cars to own, especially with the LS2 engine and 6 speed manual."
