In sedan or 5-door hatchback configuration, the 2012 Chevy Sonic is the quietest and most composed subcompact car you can buy. Combined with more conventional styling than some of its key competitors,
The 2012 Chevy Sonic isn't the smallest car in the category, but it's not as accommodating or flexible as the 2012 Honda Fit. Nor is the interior as polished as the 2012 Hyundai Accent's. And while it
Around town and on the highway, the 2012 Chevy Sonic sets a new standard for subcompact driving refinement. The category as a whole has gotten less skittish and less buzzy in recent years, but the new Sonic ups the ante considerably and drives like a bigger, pricier car than any of its competitors. It's not perfect, though. The up-level turbocharged engine available on LT and LZ models offers excellent fuel economy but suffers from the same quirky power delivery that hurt the Sonic's Chevy Cruze big brother in our most recent compact sedan comp

"After driving an old car without warranty for so long, I am the proud owner of a new 2013 Sonic LS. Even though it is a base model, I am impressed with the Bluetooth capability and OnStar system (free for six months). I took it to Busch Gardens, VA the weekend of my daughter's high school graduation. Driving it was a breeze. No problems at all. I also used the OnStar navigation system to get there and back home to NC. Very exciting. The only thing I don't like about it is you can't open the trunk from the inside. But, overall, it is a great car and I love the gas mileage, safety features, and dependability. Chevrolet, you rock!!!"

"I bought the Chevy sonic LT hatchback may 5,2012..It has been a great car for me and handles great. I love the Bluetooth hands free talking. I am very impressed on how comfortable the seats are I have back problems and I have no problems with my back after a long drive. My son was the person that recommend the sonic to me. He was 17 at the time and he loves driving it as well. I often have to remind him who's car it is. This is the first Chevy that I have bought and I highly recommend it. I have only put 12,600 miles on it and I loved every one of them.. It is a wonderful car and I have really enjoyed it... I live out in the country and the roads have a lot of curves and some of them are sharpe and the car takes them with no problems. It gets great gas mileage and that is a very big plus because I love to just hope in it and drive around.. As soon as I got it home all of my sons friends wanted to drive it so it was also a big hit with the teenagers.... I am very happy with my sonic... It had me at test drive......"
