"I bought this truck new in 2003 and it's been a very dependable, comfortable vehicle. I've done some light towing (it has the factory towing package), yet even at almost 90K miles I've still got the original brakes, hoses, belts, etc. I've done regular maintenance and switched to synthetic Mobil 1 oil when the warranty expired. Everything still works except the CD player and windshield washer. My boss keeps trying to buy it off of me! I'm considering getting a new truck in a couple of years, possibly to tow a travel trailer. Guess I'm a diehard Chevy fan, so that's what I'll buy again."

"I have about$2000 in repairs and still have other issues yet to be resolved. I had a suburban before this truck and had 186000 miles before I sold it major issue transmission at 154k(reverse went out). this truck head gasket, radiator and the have some rust and piiting on the chrome. I will probably never buy a another gm product. I also have a toyota with 145000 miles with a total of $100 in repairs."

"I really love my 04 Chev truck. Lots of power, comfy ride, tows like a champ and does not get stuck. If it got better gas mileage, I would never own another vehicle."
