"This is the second blazer Ive owned in the past year unfortunately I worked my last one to death failed to keep up repairs and still found it to be a die hard it just didn't want to give up,Now I'm the proud owner of this 1994 blazer ,its a little older but the prior owners took care of it so I am going to try to do the same since they are such quality vehicles its hard to find one for under a grand usually closer to two .and since it is proving to be everything I've ever expected from a Chevy vehicle I plan on taking better care of this one. Ive owned a lot of vehicles at age 57 and this make and model has to be ranked up in the top 3 as far as I'm concerned and all American made I might add.lol"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 137,425

Cons: "horrible mpg"

"I have a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer Tahoe LT with a 4.3 H.O. Vortec V6. I have owned it since May 2008, i have put only 15,000 miles on it and it has been worry free and reliable the whole time. Its great off road, its tough, its roomy and the engine is great! Since i have had it, i have only ever replaced the radiator, other than that, nothing has needed replaced and nothing seems like it will need replaced any time soon. I would definitly recommend getting one of these, but not for long trips due to the 20 mpg i have gotten at its best. Use it in the snow, in flooded roads, mud, hauling trailers, carrying around 5 comfortably...running over a deer or two or three. Treat it nice and it will treat you nice back."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 210,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Lots of space for the size, easy and fun to drive!"
Cons: "cupholder is terrible, cant hold a cup!"

"Ive owned this truck for 2 years now. I bought it from a friend who didnt take good care of it, but it didnt take much to get it in decent shape and reliable again. If you want a small truck, this is the one to get. With 4x4, snow is a non-issue. This thing can tow almost as much as my dads 1/2 ton pickup. With the rear seat folded down theres a lot of space in the back. I use this truck to haul my band equipment around all the time, and we can fit most of our stuff in this little truck! Mine doesnt get great gas mileage, but this truck was not well taken care of before i got it. Find one that was, and im sure it would be fine!"

"I love this vehicle. It has been such a great little truck. So reliable and it makes me sad to think of the day I have to give it up. I really don't want to. I have been through so much with it. The reliability of mine is so unbelievable. Thinking about getting a different car and i just know i won't find this reliability again."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 255,540
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliability bar none!"
Cons: "older and much noisier now (mostly wind noise)"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought mine 102000 miles ago for 1500.00 with 153000 on the odometer its a 4.3 TBI with a 700r4 automatic. its not the best driving thing around or does it feel high quality but in the last 102000 miles I might have spent 1500.00 in maintenance minus tires and routine maintenance (I don't count those). I bought a set of tires when I bought it and drove them for 60k of those miles. At 60k they were by all means still in great shape (no cupping or uneven wear in the least and I drove for 20k with worn control arm bushings!) I would still have them but I hit a piece of metal and shredded one of them. So I bought new tires. I have had to replace the fuel pump three times but later found out this was not a fuel pump related problem as it turned out it was the fuel pump relay I have had no problems sense! I love my S10 Blazer and will never give it up. I have had many much much newer cars and trucks and treated everyone of them the same not one of them was ever this reliable. and that counts for more than looks or feel to me. I could never sell this car for 1500.00 but I wouldn't take any less!"

I owned and sold this car
Reason: rust - My approximate mileage is 240,000
Pros: "Great value, great reliability, great engines 4.3"
Cons: "ball joints, electrical issues, rust"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have owned 4 of these vehicles and they are great. They just keep on going and are cheap and easy to fix. Some common problems include ball joints, fuel pumps, and some minor electrical issues. some have rust issues. Despite these issues it is a great vehicle. Much better than GM's new pieces of junk."
