Pros: "Great price, Smooth Ride, Great Gas Mileage!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This car is extremely reliable, easy to maintence, and great on gas and mileage! I have owned this car for over a year with it needing no car maintence besides oil changes. The only downside on this car is on wet payment it feels like it wants to hydro plan. I have spoke with family that also own a Malbiu and they advised me the same information. Other than that perfect car!"

"THIS CAR IS ABOUT WHAT ONE WOULD EXPECT FOR THE PRICE. i INHERITED MINE WITH 96K MILES ON IT. DROVE IT FROM S CAROLINA TO DALLAS. IT HAS GOOD POWER, COMFORTABLE AND I GOT 32.7 MPG AT HIGHWAY SPEED 70-75. IT DOES HAVE A SMALL VALVE COVER GASKET LEAK OTHERWISE VERY NICE. MY MOTHER OWNED IT SINCE NEW, NO MAJOR PROBLEMS."

"Was a good reliable work car until the "recalls" were performed. Power steering went out after the recall was performed. Had to pay another dealership to repair the same problem. Now in dispute with GM ove reimbursement."

"Overall complete summary of 2005 Chevrolet Malibu best value for reliable transportion. Have had very minor issues, just normal wear and tear. Excellent on gas milage, always ensure a qualified mechanic services this vehicle every 3,000-5,000 miles."

Pros: "Inexpensive, peppy, good highway mpg & features"

Cons: "Noisy and engine oil leaks after 100K miles"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"Enjoyed nice trip computer with good menu, adjustable accelerator pedal, ABS, telescoping steering wheel, peppy 3.5L V6 and 30+ mph on the highway. Dislikes: a bit of road noise and engine oil leaks developed after 100K + miles from numerous places."

"Purchased new in 2005 and driven every day. It has never left me stranded and has only normal wear items replaced. The V6 has plenty of power and the car handles well in summer as well as winter. It is the best car I have owned and I have owned plenty over 40 years of car ownership."
