Pros: "Reliable, spacious, great gas mileage"

Cons: "Electrical problem with front turn signals"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"This car has been my ride-or-die! I'm almost at 256k miles and other than one major issue and normal wear-and-tear, it's still going strong. The car is comfortable, spacious in the front seat as well as back seat, gets excellent gas mileage, and gives me a nice sturdy drive. My one major issue that no one has been able to fix has been an electrical problem with my front turn signals. After trying a variety of repairs and spending over $2000 on them, I finally just took the light bulbs out (because they were burning and melting into the socket). I've been using the old' school turn signs for many years now. Other than that, this car has been the best ever. We got a 2011 and 2016 Chevy Malibu and were very disappointed in the 2016. It's too crowded in the front, has awful leg room in the back, has a blind spot that's almost 3 seconds long, and rear-view mirrors are too small to be as useful as they should be. To this day I'd rather drive the 2005. I'd recommend the 2005 and 2011 over the 2016 any day."

Pros: "comfortable, great options in the back seat"

Cons: "bad in snow"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"This has been the best car I've ever owned. The only thing that I dislike about it is that despite traction control, and even new tires, it has always been horrible in the Michigan snow. I've talked to others who say they don't have this problem, but I am only selling it now because I don't want to go through another winter with it. Everything else about this vehicle I absolutely adored."

"Reasonably priced, sporty with power but good gas economy. Spacious for a compact car, with comfortable driver and passenger seats, ample backseat and trunk capacity. Great sun roof."

Pros: "Mileage, durability, space"

Cons: "None"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased my car brand new in 2004. The list price was $21K. It's a great car. Great gas mileage in the city and on the highway for long distance travel. It's very comfortable for the driver as well as the passengers. The backseat is spacious as well as the trunk. No major repairs needed, only oil changes, a battery, windshield wipers, tires, brakes, muffler and sway bar until recently. It now needs an alternator. Not bad for a 12 year old car that has been driven up and down the east coast."

Pros: "Great price, Smooth Ride, Great Gas Mileage!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This car is extremely reliable, easy to maintence, and great on gas and mileage! I have owned this car for over a year with it needing no car maintence besides oil changes. The only downside on this car is on wet payment it feels like it wants to hydro plan. I have spoke with family that also own a Malbiu and they advised me the same information. Other than that perfect car!"
