"This has been our family car since 2007. My mom bought it just two years old. This is the V6 3.5L. It has been a champ! She has a long commute and just sent me a picture of her mileage almost hitting 300k! This car is amazing and I recommend it to anyone. She plans on driving this thing into the ground. This is a good example of taking care of your vehicle really is worth the money."
"With all the GM recalls, my Malibu had no problems at all. Expected wear and tear things, but nothing significant. This car has been reliable and awesome to drive. Very easy handling that I have not experienced in any car previously or since."
"Love this car. Only complaint is my fault. Wish it had leather interior. Tried to put CD in with one already in it and broke it in 2006. Wish it wasn't quite as noisy as it is on rough roads (Chevy's bad). Have always been happy with the smooth ride it gives on highways and pleasantly surprised at highway mileage (28-30mpg). Was way better than 2004 4 cylinder version. Mine is 2005 6 cylinder 305 and has plenty of power to get on an get on and travel on any expressway and it's quiet."
"The size of the Malibu is perfect for me - roomy and comfortable for a mid-size car. It rides a little rough as compared to my old Toyota Camry - not a luxury ride, but that's ok. The interior is nicer than my sister's Mercedes. It has had several recalls, which is a nuisance, but no other major repairs. I paid about $17k for it new and would consider another Malibu in the future."
"My wife had to have a black Maxx LT the first time she seen one, we owned a 2000 Malibu at the time (190,000 miles w/o major issues) and then we found the Maxx at our local Chevrolet dealer and the rest is history (to the tune of 209,000 miles on her Maxx and mine just turning 100,00 (yes I bought one after her's hit the 190,000 mile mark) Sadly Chevrolet seen fit to end the run of our beloved Maxx and low mile used are few and far between. We regrettably will be replacing her's with a 3/4 truck (that I will drive because she now wants my Maxx) could not be happier with the choice of vehicle! by the way I am a Ford technician and proudly own a Chevrolet!"
