"This car has been trustworthy and useful. It has six seat belts (the sixth person must be small), a cavernous trunk, requires minimal maintenance expense and was inexpensive in the first place. Gas mileage over 30 mpg on highway is amazing considering it is big enough for our family of four to take a two week vacation in. Gas tank is sized for, well, a tank. Range is over 500 miles on the highway. Needless to say we do road trips and this car has served well."
Pros: "Good ride, lots of room in trunk, very reliable"
Cons: "heavy cornering, limited back seat space for adult"

"I have had this car now for over four years and we love it. There have been no issues at all in those four years. We did have the key inserts put in when Chevy recalled the car for that but they were not a problem for us. It is comfortable on the road and there is a huge amount of room in the trunk. You would be shocked at what my wife has packed in that trunk and carried home!!! The only observation I would make is the car tends to need a lot of room for turns and the doors open very wide. Not a bad thing unless you count the fact this means my wife can put bigger items in the back seat since there is no need to struggle with the door opening. LOL The back seat is not at all comfortable for adults so keep that in mind. All in all, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned and I will probably get another Impala when I decide to trade in."
Pros: "Powertrain and suspension have only 30,000 miles"
Cons: "Small nicks on hood from road travels"

"I used the car to drive in 9 states. The miles are all road miles. I changed the oil every 3,000 miles, The chassis has been completely rebuilt starting at 200,000 miles and have all receipts for it. To name a few REPLACED items, 4 struts, new wheel bearings, new fuel pump, new alternator and starter, rebuild Jasper Transmission, mew serpentine belt every 50,00 miles, new radiator hoses. All tie rod ends, engine mounts and anything rubber has been replaced starting at 200K. New Cooper Touring tires and complete new breaks at 230,000. Car rides better than new. Engine runs perfect. When I had transmission replaced, I had the Oil Pump, timing chain and CPS also replaced."
"Consumers Report got this one right when the rated it 95 out of 100. This is an extremely comfortable car and very easy to drive. It goes 0-60 in six seconds flat with the 3.6 liter V-6. Very fast for a car this size. And I get 29 mpg over the road, 23.5 to and from work (combined city/highway miles). Just love the car. I've rented lots of cars in my business, and this car has always impressed me so much, had to buy one. Mine is the LTZ version and has every option except moonroof (didn't want anyway) and navigation. This car is great! Got it for a very good price out of a rental fleet. It was 9 months old with 33K on it. I've had it 2 years and it is at 56K miles now. No trouble so far - its a winner in my book."
