"this is the best vehicle, I have ever own, and it save my life in a head on collision. All the air bags deployed. And if I could afford another vehicle like this one. I would buy it. Chevrolet makes excellent vehicles. This is my 4th Chevrolet vehicle. When I brought this car, it's was one owner before me."
"This has been the most dependable and most economical car I have ever own. I bought it new off the lot and have never had any regrets. I changed out the stock tires for Goodyear Triple Treds which greatly improved the handling and all weather stability of the vehicle. Gas mileage on my car has always been between 29 and 32 mpg on the highway. The engine is peppy and the front wheel drive effortlessly pulls me through the corners. The interior is roomy and comfortable. The stereo system with it's built in amplifier has always rocked. It's a great road touring car. The only problems I have had with the vehicle have been a couple of recalls in which the dealership service center did a horrible job. Fortunately I have a good mechanic for a friend."
Cons: "Wish it had IPod hook up but they didn't then."

"Outside of a few repairs I have had good luck with my 2005 Impala. I love the comfort & style. I was hesitant to buy a new Impala because I like the bench seat style.
I had a few instances of the car not starting which ended up being a starter replacement. I also had a more extensive repair that was caused by my not getting a minor part replaced as soon as I could have. Due to my procrastination it caused another part to go bad. It would have been a $1,500.00 repair. I'm fortunate to have a son who is a mechanic at a Chevy dealer. I have a few spots on the trunk lid where the paint has peeled but there is no rust & the car still looks great being 10 years old."
"Great car. Bought used. Got the 3.4L engine. Very reliable. Drives great. Roomy. I would buyanother. Be weary of Ford guys posting bogus reviews. I own both. And properly maintain both. Plus there is no timing belt to change every 70k miles. These cars are known for being reliable. So when you read a post saying the car blew up at 70 or 100 thousand miles, you know that's false."
"We have owned this car for about a year. It was a single owner, well maintained car with low mileage for the year. On the plus side the car rides and handles well for a big car, gets very good fuel mileage on the highway and is whisper quiet at highway speeds. On the negative side I have spent the past several weeks fixing the car. So far I have replaced the IAC motor, MAF sensor, transmission and all four rotors and pads. At this point I spent more on repairs than I spent on the car and told my wife that one more failure and it gets traded for a Ford."
