overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Room, MPG, reliable"
Cons: "Not much road feel"

"The driving dynamics are zero but the car is comfortable and plenty of space. Driving is pretty easy outside noise is muffled pretty good. Very little amount of road noise. All The accessories still work as they should. The 3.8 Litre on the LS is lively and still gets me 19-20 MPG average. I only drive in town. On the open road I average 30-31 MPG. Not bad considering the size. I've added Bluetooth to my car or I should say I bring Bluetooth into the car and my IPAD mini to the front ashtray/cup holder spot with a lighter input right next to it makes it easy to put a IPAD mini there. I wish I could find a stand that was a few inches taller. The original paint still looks good (I don't have a garage) but the previous owner did. This is my 3rd Impala. All of this generation 2001, 2002, and 2005. I traded the base 2001 for a loaded '02 LS put 50K on it traded for a new '07 Civic that was suppose to get 30/40 MPG and got only a few more then my Impala I traded and was sorry I made the change and ended up fining a car similar to the one I traded but newer and with the Sports package. So, that should say something."

Cons: "head unit is hard annoying to get out"

"This car is great to drive. The mpg isn't great, but it gets you from point a to point b. As a commuter to my college, I drive 40 minutes each way 5 days a week. I use up almost a tank of gas every week, but it is almost as efficient as my 2005 Hyundai Sonata (4 cyl model). I recommend this car! The only problem I have had is a leak in the windshield, which was easy and not expensive to fix, and the wheel bearing. I love my car! It's a beast. It is a very long car, but it is so easy to drive."
