I own this car - My approximate mileage is 91,785
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "great handling, fun to drive, roomy, fast"
Cons: "head unit is hard annoying to get out"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This car is great to drive. The mpg isn't great, but it gets you from point a to point b. As a commuter to my college, I drive 40 minutes each way 5 days a week. I use up almost a tank of gas every week, but it is almost as efficient as my 2005 Hyundai Sonata (4 cyl model). I recommend this car! The only problem I have had is a leak in the windshield, which was easy and not expensive to fix, and the wheel bearing. I love my car! It's a beast. It is a very long car, but it is so easy to drive."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 105,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Very reliable, good drive, roomy, economical!"
Cons: "Low HP, plastics, not much else"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have owned an LS Impala for 2 years now. In the time i have owned it, it has only been a pain once, but that was the ignition cylinder broke on it. Other than that, the car only needed the typical maintenance: gas, oil, coolant, and trans fluid. The car's engine maybe a bit lack-luster on power, but it is good on gas and is virtually bullet proof. I recomend any car with the GM 3.8 V6, i never heard of any car that has been bad that has that engine. The interior is nice and welcoming and roomy; even for a person that's around 6 ft tall and can still get in and out of it easily. The plastics do seem a bit cheap but it is easily forgotten as you drive along. The ride is nice and quiet, slight wind noise but its a full size family sedan, not a Rolls Royce. So there's going to be some faults of course. But the car itself when taken care of will probably out last it's first owners, and it's second owners as well."
