"My GF purchased this used from a reputable dealer - with low miles in 2006.... Went there often for every little routine maintenance and some expensive unexpected repairs. She still loved it. Then drove it to MD and used it here for a couple of years. But then the big buck repairs started coming in often... plus sensors went crazy. She stopped loving it when she started paying out more than the car was worth. Was thrilled to dump it .... er..trade it in."

"Bought at 42,000 miles, now up to 132,000 in 3 years. NO - repeat - NO engine problems, possibly the best engine in a car I have ever owned. Had to fully replace trans, my fault, I am hard on cars. Trans replaced at 52,000 miles, NO problems since. Can get 25 mpg on highway and "not much stopping" travel. Just plain a great used car to buy. It's all about the engine!"

"Car is junk, I got it used 3rd owner, car has horrible electrical issues, anything with a sensor malfunctions on a daily basis. Service Traction light on starter burned up, abs lights on engine light on then the next day, nothing will be on. Doors are supposed to lock when tranny engaged sometimes they do, sometimes they don't rear defogger doesn't work A/C works sporadically. Like I said horrible electrical issues. Electrical is not cheap to fix either!"

Pros: "Great to drive smooth and quiet"

Cons: "sun burned upholstery due to not being garaged"

"Very reliable vehicle for the 13 yrs I have owned it. Oxidized paint exterior also leather seats discolered due to the Florida sun and not having a garage or carprt. Heated seats are great in cooler weather even in Florida. Car was purchased in Canada and is in KL. 57000 clicks equals 37 to 38ooo miles."

"I bought my 2000 red and black impala at a used lot in 2013 for 1900.00 .. since then i had a few Minor issues. Signals work when they want, my wipers are stuck in the on position while in drive.and my gas gauge, and mileage doesnt display. I had tire rods brakes and a few other wearable parts replaced, but other than that, I would Totally buy other Impala.. I cant complain having it almost 2 years"

"I have owned my Impala since 2004 and I love it. I was the 2nd owner and it had 26,000 miles on it when I purchased it. This car is easy on the eyes, great ride, reliable, and safe. I have it serviced every 3000-4000 and have never had anything major go wrong with it. I highly recommend it."
