If you want a small-but-not-too-small SUV with plenty of passenger space, a comfortable ride and good fuel economy, consider the 2013 Chevy Equinox. Those who need to tow will appreciate the 3,500-pou
The Equinox is not available with three rows of seats, so if you need to carry more than 5 people, look to Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Kia Sorento, or the Equinox's bigger brother, the Traverse. N
If the 2013 Chevy Equinox has an area where it shines, it's the SUV's comfortable and quiet ride. In this regard, the Equinox feels like a more expensive car. Models with the 4-cylinder engine have good fuel economy, but sacrifice power and thus performance for those precious mpgs. Buyers opting for the new, larger V6 engine will be rewarded with good off-the-line acceleration and plenty of power for passing, which was not a strong point in the outgoing version. The standard 6-speed automatic transmission connected to both engines is smooth

"I bought a new 2013 LTZ with the V-6 engine. I have driven it for 6 nmonths and 6,000 miles. The car is very comroftable, even for tall drivers. It handles well and is very quiet. The mileage is as advertised and the V-6's acceleration is very strong. The fit and finish and quality of the leather seats and interior mateirals is first class. I have owned several Mercedes and Infiniti cars that were not finished as nicely inside, nor were as quiet. I picked the car up at the dealership and have never returned. Everything works as advertised and I have had zero problems or issues. I am very impressed with GM's quality control. I will go in for my first oil change (Free from the dealer) in a month or so and I have nothing for them to fix or adjust. Everything works fine. I could not ask for a nicer car for any price."

"I am a very picky owner/driver. It took me 2 weeks to decide on which vehicle to purchase. I drove the CRV, RAV4 and ESCAPE and they compared nicely up to the Equinox, but the ride and handling in interior fit and finish is what made me choose the Equinox. AWESOME CAR!"
