LOVE my Cruze!!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 3,600

Pros: "Awesome car for the money!"

Cons: "Low front end so it scrapes on parking blocks."

"I had a long running history of Lemon-esque vehicles for many years that was totally compounded by the purchase of a "new to me" (1 year old) Chevy Aveo. There is a reason they aren't selling the Aveo anymore and it is because that car is the biggest waste of money on the market. When I went through the whole buy back process with GM, I just assumed that any Chevy I could afford was going to be a total piece of junk, but I was required to buy another Chevy for the terms of the agreement. I started doing some research and I found the Cruze Eco which in theory would fit my needs and be a safe, reliable transport for my young son. I will tell you that the Cruze is not only an amazingly comfortable, safe and BEAUTIFUL car, but it is absolutely fantastic on gas, has very limited maintenance requirements and has the get up and go that you need to be able to commute where I live. I absolutely love this car!! I HIGHLY recommend this car to people with kids because it has a five star safety rating (10 airbags standard) and it has a great grip of the road. It comes standard with OnStar for 6 months which I also highly recommend. The OnStar service is amazing! The car gets incredibly good gas mileage and even in-town, I am still averaging 25-30 MPG. Freeway is closer to 35-40. I could not be happier with my decision to purchase this vehicle! I am a huge fan of the Cruze Eco! :)"

Good car for value

Pros: "great handling with snow, ice, rain."

Cons: "suspension could be enhanced"

"Minor problems resolved at dealership One factory recall Two minor engine problems quickly resolved at dealer (electric thermostat replacement and new antifreeze, ignition part replacement all under warranty)"

"just purchased the cruze ltz 2013 fully loaded. It rides smooth. the front seats are comfortable. its true that there is not enough space for backseat passengers. truthfully i dont care i bought this car for myself. i live in brooklyn ny . i only travel throughout the boroughs not including manhattan, bronx and staten island plus long island. the electric steering im still getting used too. hoping with in a month or less it will be second nature. the pick up on the 1.4 turbo engine is on point. im blowing by rain drops. im hype i got a luxury car in a american style. if you are thinking about buying this car go with brand new. trust. oh and loving that keyless entry, if there any issues with this car i will update."

Nice Fuel Sipper

"My wife and I rented a base model and was pleased with how much "pep" the low end throttle response was. We were not expecting much from a small car with a 4 cyl and yet we were pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, it's no rocket and we expect that. We bought last year's model (2012). A white LTZ that we fared well through the dealership. The leather is black with the orangish/brown center (apparently we are 1 of a few that like it as they don't offer that in 2013). It has a lot of fun toys like push button start. Just keep the key in your pocket and you grab the door handle and it unlocks, place foot on brake and push the button to start. XM radio that continues to keep me happy, OnStar that allows remote starting via a smart phone. Tush warmers. What more could you want while sipping fuel (currently getting 32 MPG). I feel the car corners very well which allows for swifter turning while maintaining momentum to conserve gas. The center console is cramped and I don't really like how the center compartment slides forward for your elbow. Barely works for me and the darn thing just slides back."

Good car yet not preferable to snow/cold climates

"Really enjoy the car overall except during the winter/cold season because it seems it has a very very difficult time getting warmed up and it has higher than normal RPM'S for a longer amount of time because the engine is so small. The other two things I am not fan of with driving it in the winter is with the snow it tends to get stuck quite easily and the other is that occasionally it sounds like the fans kick on in the engine for what reason I have no clue yet the RPM'S and hot/cold gauge stay normal. Other than those things I really like the car I think it is great for places that don't have a lot of snow and that stay above 40 degrees."
