I own this car - My approximate mileage is 197,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Low operating costs, comfortable, good handling"
Cons: "Interior layout"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I own a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica since it had 125000 on it. It now has just shy of 200000 on it. Car has never left me sit, and is very comfortable on the monthly trips I take it to WV to visit my fiance. Regularly gets close to or 30 mpg. Would probably get a good percentage more if it had overdrive, not the 3T40 3-speed that's in it. Hardly any options, although that's less to go wrong over the course of a vehicle's life. Interior layout could be better, but not horrible. It has been a good car to me, hope it keeps on going for another 200k."

I don't own this car
Reason: Blown Transmission
Pros: "Compact Size"
Cons: "Everything Else"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I learned how to drive in this car and owned it for 3 years. It's very flakey and seems to have had something new always go wrong with it. First the radiator, then the fuel line, then the transmission. It finally died unexpectedly one day and I did not mourn its loss. I was happy to have gotten rid of the trouble making money pit."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 105,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great price, Somewhat sporty look, Strong V6"
Cons: "Stock stereo deck, Gaskets"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I got this 1996 Chevy Corsica with a 3100 SFI V6 in it with 91000 miles on it for absolutely free. The car did require a few repairs but that was because my grandma totaled it and I just put it back together. This car has never once left me stranded and runs strong. Its also not bad speed wise. Its V6 gives it enough power to show up those pesky Honda Civics that drive around and rev at people. The only thing I would have to warn people about is the gaskets. If you have some experience with engines have it pulled and replace the gaskets asap!"

I owned and sold this car
Reason: totaled - My approximate mileage is 160,000
Pros: "comfortable"
Cons: "cheaply made, constant repairs"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I bought this car with 110,000 miles on it for $3,000. Over the next 4 years, I easily put $8,000 in repairs into this car. I could not drive it more than a month or two without it breaking down. Once the converter switch went out and every shop tried to fix it and couldn't find the problems. So after dealing with not being able to gear down without the car shutting off for a few months and putting in $2000 worth of repairs that treated the symptoms, someone finally discovered the problem and it only put me out $200. This car was a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 165
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Awesome Value Overall, nice for what it is."
Cons: "Slightly Ugly."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I have a 2001 F-150 that gets 13-14 to the gallon. Picked up the Corsica for 600 bucks with 140,000 miles. Although not a panty dropper. I have put 25k on it, all that I have done is chaged the oil, air filter once, and a fuel filter. Has always started, never broke down, still gets 27mpg and its like driving a go cart around. Seriously not a bad cheap car. I have power locks/windows/sun roof. Cruise, and a tape adapter to run pandora through my phone on the stereo annnnd get 27mpg for 600 bucks."
