Pros: "good on gas and reliable."

Cons: "space."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I bought this car in 2009 and have had it ever since. I use it for work every day and I can go to work a for approximately 8 days without fueling up. its a 45 mile round trip. I love this car but my spouse hates it cause of the space and the rear its a little bit higher than the front. But, other than that I plan to keep it till it falls apart."

Pros: "gas mileage, great in the snow"

Cons: "breaks down, uncomfy, small gas tank,no power"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I bought this car certified pre-owned with 30,000 some odd miles on it. At first it was alright. The fuel mileage was a nice change compared to my F-150 (which I never should have gotten rid of). Then all the problems started. I had to change the fuel pump twice in 1 month. The right blinker didn't automatically turn off. Going up any hill kills any good gas mileage. I couldn't even make a 400 mile long trip without stopping for gas. The center conceal makes no sense for storage. Very noisy when I'd drive on the high way. The seats are very uncomfortable. Every time I turned around it seemed like a new problem would pop up. A strut was broken, my tire gauge monitor went out, the air bag needed serviced, the heat plate decided to fall off. This car worked as a commuter car for school, and was actually killer in the snow but always hydroplaned in the rain. I'm super excited to see it gone."

Pros: "affordable, reliable, fund to drive"

Cons: "plastic interior, seats not overly comfortable"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Purchased new in 2009 I have driven daily since then. It's an economy car so the interior is what you would expect, cheap but effective and durable. If you take care of the vehicle it won't fail you. I have not had any failures from my Cobalt. An excellent vehicle if you are looking for something reliable and affordable. Way under priced and under valued. I have seen these cars in good working order with over 200,000 miles on them. Those who complain about reliability issues have not maintained their vehicles."

Pros: "Quick, sporty, and will get you there stylish"

Cons: "Small car for a family"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I bought it from a local dealer with 45k on the clock, and the instant I saw it I was in love. The spoiler was a bit too high and I have since removed it for a wingless look. I have done numerous modifications to get a little more power and I have been satisfied. I changed the tune a little to use E85 fuel and gas mileage dropped from about 28 city to 24, and 34 highway to about 28. I love it and will keep it for a long time."

Pros: "gas mileage"

Cons: "no leg room for taller people"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I got the colbalt out of desperation..Cheap little car. That is a great way to describe this vehicle. Cheaply made Cheap on gas and just shotty workmanship. I have kept up on all recommended maint for this vehicle through the dealership. Love them but absolutely hate this car. My car insurance went up over $50/month because its made of nothing but plastic..If you get into an accident its going to cost the insurance company and you dearly. Do not get into one without your seatbelt. If you do get into an accident at least you wont go through the windshield as the rest of the car pops apart."

Pros: "great car"

Cons: "visibility not great but not bad"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"2400000 miles and no major repair. Never had ignition issue. Spent less than a thousand dollars on repairs. Great tire wear except for pirelli tires. Never has needed an alignment. All options still work including ac. Beats any foreign car in its class on pick up. Still does not use oil."
