"I Own a 1994 Chevrolet Caprice with the 9C1 Police Package and the detuned Corvette 5.7L LT1 V8, A 1992 Chevrolet Caprice With the 5.0 305 and a 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Police Package with the 5.7L LO5 V-8. I will say the Revision that GM gave these cars in 94 definently was impressive. My 94 is my daily driver and Let me tell you this thing has a TON of power. I have flat out walked a few cars on the road like they wern't even trying. they are so reliable and If I can continue to keep these going I will never buy another Vehicle!"

"I can't tell you how many thousands of dollars I had to pour into this lemon and it never even reached 100k before I finally threw my hands up and sold it. It's just one thing after another seriously. Fuel pump, plug wires, electrical problems, computer problems, problems NOBODY ever did figure out. It's a pretty, nice car cosmetically, but avoid these at all costs. You'll regret it if you don't."

"We owned if for 10 years and it has never broken down once. it needs a few body repairs and electrical fixes to pass inspection but overall it is farr better than our 1996 infinity I36 which is a luxury car. i hope to own my classic for many years to come :D"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 165,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "good gas milage, 21 hywy - comfortable"
Cons: "optispark and spark plug wire routing"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have driven this wagon over 14 years. Only 3 major factory design flaws presented itself. 1, the electronic speedometer flickers then goes out. Easy fix though through the internet - do not send it out to be fixed. This can be done by anyone and save yourself the 350-450 dollars. 2, the optispark fails, very expensive to fix and better left to the pros. There are too many other problems that can happen if tried to replace yourself. 3, the stainless steel exhaust is just that but the connections that hold nit together are NOT. They rust away and need to have custom connectors made to use existing exhaust or replace the whole exhaust pipe with new pieces. Cheaper to have custom pieces of flat 1/4" steel plate made for connectors. Dash has finally cracked after 12 years and the passenger side arm rest pulled off at 11 years. Lower quarter rust appeared 12 years after driving as main vehicle. I love this wagon....................."
