Great Car to own

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 165,000

Pros: "good gas milage, 21 hywy - comfortable"

Cons: "optispark and spark plug wire routing"

"I have driven this wagon over 14 years. Only 3 major factory design flaws presented itself. 1, the electronic speedometer flickers then goes out. Easy fix though through the internet - do not send it out to be fixed. This can be done by anyone and save yourself the 350-450 dollars. 2, the optispark fails, very expensive to fix and better left to the pros. There are too many other problems that can happen if tried to replace yourself. 3, the stainless steel exhaust is just that but the connections that hold nit together are NOT. They rust away and need to have custom connectors made to use existing exhaust or replace the whole exhaust pipe with new pieces. Cheaper to have custom pieces of flat 1/4" steel plate made for connectors. Dash has finally cracked after 12 years and the passenger side arm rest pulled off at 11 years. Lower quarter rust appeared 12 years after driving as main vehicle. I love this wagon....................."

Last real wagon

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 220,000

Pros: "Comfortable, powerful, capable"

Cons: "not enough cup holders"

"Very smooth ride, surprisingly fast when you need it, even with 9 people in the car I've surprised a few others on the road. Very capable in any weather, mine has the limited slip rear end so I always have traction. I can't complain about fuel economy, either, I've averaged 20 mpg over the 30k miles I've put on it, and it's a 4500 pound car."

Best car I ever owned

Pros: "Roomy, smooth, reliable"

Cons: "Eats gas, showing its age"

"I would give this old tank better review numbers except its starting to rust and require more repairs. But it starts , runs and is reliable."

i love this car

I want this car

Pros: "fun to drive and it just fun"

Cons: "not vewry good gas"

"my friends has this car and it is a good 1 but i have a 1984 caprice wagon caprice are just nice i want to look up my car"
