I own this car - My approximate mileage is 80,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "LS1 big power nice 6 sp manual"
Cons: "not all day comfortable"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"The good: Engine performance w/6 sp trans is excellent. Traction control and all season tires made this a reasonable winter car. You can put alot of stuff in it with the rear seat folded down; i.e. 50" plasma tv. Stock Monsoon stereo is good.Stock Z28 handling is not good.Although stock, it rides like a dream. Replacing the stock shocks fixed the handling koni sport shocks) and still gave a decent ride. I've done a few track days with the car and it's great on the road course with koni's. 13.41@107 in the quarter bone stock. 308whp stock. The not so good: Alot of road and wind noise. The dealer could never really fix the wind noise even with all new gaskets. Seats are just okay. There is a huge bump in the passenger side floorpan. No excuse for that. This car was the best bang for the buck in 2002."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 130,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have had so few problems with this car. I did not have to replace the clutch until I had over 110,000 miles on it. I do tend to have to replace the breaks about every 10,000 or so. Had my first front alignment at 128,000 and it barely needed it. If you can find one used and it has been taken care of you will get years of enjoyment with this car."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 66,676
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good value, sporty, easy to handle"
Cons: "one cup holder, only 2 back seats, small trunk"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have owned this car for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. It took me a little while to get used to driving it because the car sits so low and I can not see the front end of my car when I am driving. Granted the car is older, I am in love with it."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 61,500
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "affordable, dependable, fun to drive, looks great"
Cons: "not very comfortable for long distance driving"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have to say that I love my Camaro! It's fast, fun, affordable, and looks great! It has been very dependable and overall very standard repairs and maintenance for any vehicle. My only complaints would be the seats. As far as comfort is concerned... local travel only! These are not made for long trips! There is also a considerable amount of road noise... more that I anticipated... but nothing that the stereo system can't cover! Great car and anyone should consider themselves lucky to own one."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 51,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Inexpensive, high quality, fun to drive"
Cons: "Replacement parts are somewhat expensive"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This will be my 5th F-Body car and it is by far my favorite! I have owned a 1986 Camaro Z28, 1988 Trans Am GTA, 1993 Camaro Z28, and 1998 Camaro SS before owning this 2001 Camaro SS. I enjoy this car in every aspect. Performance, gas mileage, appearance, comfort, etc. As a performance car these Camaros do not disappoint. 325 base horsepower from the factory and rumored to be conservative. This car will GO when you put your foot down. The LS1 engine is exceptional. Very easy to work on and maintain and great gas mileage to boot! I average about 24 mpg and most of my driving is highway miles. In my opinion this car is one of the best looking on the road with some slight appearance modifications. As far as comfort. It's a very smooth ride for it's age and very comfortable seats even for bigger people like myself. I am 225 pounds and 6 foot tall and fit comfortable. Overall you can't go wrong with the 1998-2002 Camaro SS/Z28 for the price. It's powered by a Corvette motor and a lot less expensive. Enjoying every minute of owning one."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 91,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fast, fun, affordable"
Cons: "No legroom backseat, replacement parts expensive"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I got this car in 2010 as my first car. It's a very fun car to drive, fast, reliable, and comfortable to ride in, for the front seat that is. The backseat has practically no legroom, but no worries. People like to talk mess about the fact that it's a v6, but there's nothing wrong with the v6. It's incredibly fuel efficient, and is a very good car. I did do some work on the exhaust to make it a little quicker off the line, and to make it sound a little better, but nothing major... yet.Overall though, I love my car and I wouldn't sell it for the world. There are a few things I’d change about my experience with it, but those things are mere personal opinion... If you can help it, get one! You won't regret it!"
