"My Z28 Camaro is a fabulous car to drive. A
lot of owners can verify this. My 97 is a 30yr
anniversary white/orange. My only complaint
is, the Ca. Highway Patrol notices it too !!!
The controls, handling and performance
are fabulous for a 20K dollar vehicle. With a
few modifications, the Z28 can be a real
screamer. Only a few complaints, the seats are the weak spot in the camaro interior.
and the passenger floor board due to the catalytic converter bump.
For the money. The camaro is and always will be the the best bang for the buck."
"I've had this car since there were only 4 miles on the odometer now it's 88,000 miles. I can't say enough about how well the LS1 engine runs, performs, and acts in general. Best V8 ever as far as I'm concerned. The drivetrain has had no problems at all and the vehicle itself has also never had any issues. The seats aren't the most confortable after about 10 hours but most cars aren't. Driving around town is easy in this car, however don't plan on carrying large items inside it. Including large people."
"i purchased my SS w/ram induction 4 years ago with 33000 miles on it. i love it!! summers are best when driving with the t-tops off even with 100+ temps outside the car looks awesome and gets many compliments for going on 8 years. Very comfortable upfront, rear seat could use some more leg room."
"I've had my 2002 Camaro Convertible for a few years now. I bought it used with 6900 miles on it. I can't even explain how much I love this car. It is fabulous!! Everytime I drive with the top down, I always, always get major complements. It's great. My dog loves to ride in the back, although it is a little snug. The car is beautiful. My only gripe, would be that I didn't get the V8. And that the blinds spots are a little tricky at times, especially when backing out of a parking spot. Overall---I LOVE IT!!"
"I LOVE MY CAR! Its been fun to drive and sharp looking too, Even though mines only a V-6 I still get lots of compliments on it from strangers. Its fairly dependable, Other than a few basic mechanical things. Its a really nice sport car to drive and affordable. With the way gas is these days it does great on fuel milage too! Its still an American Classic!"
"Excellent vehicle. Reliable. In stock configuration in its class it stands out from the rest. And with only a few performance upgrades, as I have done with mine, can give this vehicle supercar performance capabilities in excess of 500hp and even better handling. A real head-turner. It keeps me grinning from ear-to-ear."
"The F-Body Camero's are a great performance car for the price. I've had three of them (93, 94 Z28 and currently a 2000 Z28). They have their little quirks, like weak power window motors and some sqeeks and groans here and there, but nothing that can't be taken care of with some after-market replacements. A seriously fun car to drive. Absolutely stunning power and torque. The body styling is very sleek and can draw a crowd when tricked out. Not a family car in any way, in fact they're really a one person car. The LS1 engine used in the later year Camero's is rated as one of the top performance engine ever made. Very reliable. In all a really good looking and fun car to drive."
"I have a 2002 camaro RS 5 spd. Dark blue with silver racing stripes. The RS is V6 with an extra 5 horsepower because it came with the Z28 exhaust. It has a tigher steering ratio, track ctrl and a limited slip differentail, all come with the RS package. Gets mid 20s mpg city and high 20s mpg on the highway. The car is fast enough for me, about 7 seonds 0-60. As long as you lubricate the wetherstrip on the t-tops once a month, they will not leak at all. Besides the window motors, the car has never had any problems. I have a little over 48k miles on the clock."
