"I have owned my 1998 Blazer for a little less than a year. Overall, it has to be the best running vehicle I have owned to date. I have had to put a little money and work into it to keep it going but nothing major. Just the automatic shift cable, a heater core and an alternator is all that I have had to have fixed on it. I plan on doing the brake eventually just so I know they are done and will not need them for a while. Gas millage is pretty good for what it is. I expected less from it. Overall I give my blazer a 9/10 rating overall. It is comfy, roomy, and does what I need it to do."

"Was my daily driver. Now show car. 4.3 Vortec Just fast enough to get you in trouble. Vette yellow Factory paint job with factory heat graphics Really turns heads ! Very comfortable long or short trips. Moon roof open makes it perfect snow bird year round car. With seat folded down holds more than it looks. Not great on gas but you cant have everything? has the speed ! 2wd. not real good in snow !Mine isnt for sale ! get offers all the time! Bought it used. and only car I ever owned that is worth more than I paid for ? and it just keeps going up?"

"When I turned 16 my parents ended up buying me a car like most teenagers I asked for cars like Hummers, Camaros, and 350z's and when that day came my dad (a master mechanic) found a 1997 Chevy Blazer that someone at his work was selling because it had a broken fuel pump (a common problem for this car) I hated it the first time we went to look at the thing the next week but it was a free car so I wasn't going to complain it cost my dad $400 to buy and cost me $400 for the new battery and fuel pump it needed so $800 and I had a good running car...this car is as basic as it gets extremely easy to fix but has a cheap inside all 4 speakers where blown the radio didn't any feature it came with was broken I drove it for about a year and it now needs new U-Joints a wheel baring, but has a comfy ride and when I go to sell it after winter I have the worst resale value Ive ever seen in a vehicle to look forward too everything works and its only got 160,000miles and its worth $2000 for a car thats just like its rival the ford explorer but way more reliable but is worth 1/2 as much to conclude only buy this car if your a young driver or need a 4door its cheap and easy to fix and if it breaks you dont loose that much money it has a nice ride 4x4 and get ok gas I love my SUV but cant wait to get something better"
