I own this car - My approximate mileage is 133,370

"I bought a 2002 blazer 4d 4x4 for $2500 with 132000 because the body is mint and finding that in upstate ny is next to impossible! When I bought it it needed an upper ball joint, shocks, and the (ABS) light is on because the wire rusted off the hub. I also put a 2" lift and helper springs because I plan on towing my snowmobile trailer. At 55mph the tires need balancing so it shakes and the alignment slightly pulls left. It also heats up to 200D really fast and takes forever to cool down maybe a bad thermostat or I need a radiator flush. I put 800 miles on it in 7 days (just got my license so I was cruising). My only complaints are cheap interior, loud interior an terrible gas mileage!!!"

"We got our 2000 Blazer used in 2007, the only thing we have had done to it was add Freon to a/c last month!!! Blown away that we had no repairs to it. The only problem for me is I am disabled and it was hard to get in and out of, but it was not a problem when we bought it. Totally enjoyed the reliability. It was totaled 5/29/13. Gonna miss my baby."

"My husband bought my 1995 Blazer for me 9 years ago and I drive it every day. It has 160,000 miles on it and yes, I've had to do a few repairs but nothing that I consider extreme. The only major thing I've had to do to it is replace the rear-end a few years ago. I love the 4-wd on the fly, all I have to do is push a button and as far as having to take it out in the winter in the snow, it outperformed 2 different Jeeps that I had previously owned. Plus, it is pink and that makes me love it even more, Chevrolet only had this color for 2 years I believe. My Blazer is a 2-door so that makes it just a bit more sporty in my opinion."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 201,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliability, comfort, versatility"
Cons: "Some repairs expensive, MPG if that matters to you"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Mine is a 2001 ZR2. I absolutely love this truck. I've owned it since 2003 when it had had 29k miles, it's now 2013 and over 200k. Fuel pump went out for the first time about two months ago. Had a few alternators, intake gasket at around 90k miles, and a number of ball joints and wheel bearings. The bearings were my sore point, but the latest ones have been on for probably 75k miles and they're holding up. At this point, the blower motor is starting to go, but the AC STILL holds it's original charge. It will swallow massive amounts of cargo, or drive long distances with comfort and ease. I average about 16 MPG, no big deal in exchange for the reliability and versatility, not to mention 4wd. It really bothers me how GM kills off the best vehicles, just as they perfect them. This last generation of small Blazers may be one of the best vehicles ever made. As the sun sets on the opportunity to buy relatively late-model used ones, if you find one in good shape, I highly recommend picking it up."
