I own this car - My approximate mileage is 215,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Classic 2 door SUV, plenty of room for everyone !"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have always wanted a Full size Blazer, have had IH Scout 1970 prior, The Blazer is much easier to work on, parts are found everywhere, My Daughter and Son are always taking it... Now it seems everyone is getting one of these CLASSIC rides. This one was originally from Chicago, had a little rust, had it repaired and painted ALL black, with Red Chevy bowtie, It now has the SS look. I have pulled our trailer to California, Laughlin, Northern AZ, and on and on... It just keeps on going. It has a few things that makeup the character of the Beast... A new set of tires has made this ride like a smooth new truck again. Plenty of Power, kick, and reliable !!!"

Cons: "bad mileage"

"this is probably one of the best stock SUV's ever created. I bought my 1992 blazer in 2008 with 150,000 miles and it now has about 206600 miles. parts are easy to find, cheap, and maintenance is easy to do. so far I've only had to replace wear and tear things such as fuel pump, alternator, starter, timing chain, water pump, main seal, and master cylinder (the engine, transmission 700R4, and transfercase have not been rebuilt). only con is the mileage, but you shouldn't buy a 5000lb car expecting to get good mileage. I average around 10-12 around town and 14-16 on the freeway"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 262,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun to drive. Drove on the beach great!"
Cons: "Speakers, radio not great quality."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"We bought this Blazer in 1999 and have driven it any and everywhere. The air is cold, the heat is hot - it runs all the time. We have never had any major problems with it at all. We were told it needed a new compressor at about 175,000 miles. At 250,000 we finally put a bypass on it instead of a compressor. We got 75,000 more miles on that old compressor working just fine - bonus!"

overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "quality, reliability, and durability"
Cons: "gas mileage"

"I got this vehicle when I was seventeen years old from my grandfather and all I can say is whatever chevy did they did it well when engineering this suv. This is the first review I have ever written for anything but I felt obligated to share my experiences with my blazer. It gets an A in my book in every driving category from highway to rugged cornfields. I have taken it everywhere without any problems most of the time never having to put it in four wheel drive. The only two complaints I can think of is A) lots of minor things have gone out most just with age and miles and B) obviously is the gas mileage or lack there of."
