Pros: "Bulit for longevity and comfort"

Cons: "Bad on gas , and its not a real truck"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"Its 9/2014 - I have owned this vehicle since new ($46,000)and 166k, my maintenance cost per year are around 1000 averaging. Gas is crazy bad for this since the ethanol came into play. I was getting right at 19 on the interstate and 15 in the city, now I get 15 no matter how I drive. Ethanol has ruined my gas mileage so yea I'm not a fan. If you have a large family this is an excellent truck and really it pretty cheap to maintain. The biggest issue I have had are the sensors under the manifold (i forget what they are called)and the fuel pump in the tank(bad design) these was unexpected and costly around 500. each I figure even if the motor went out I would keep it because a motor for this truck is only around 1k. I have no complaints and I'm pretty picky. I doubt I would buy this again because of the gas mileage (you never get it back) but if your a large family and its all local get one you wont look back. Also keep in mind this isnt really a truck (no leaf springs) so when I tow I really know its back there."

"I purchased this vehicle brand new. I have had very few repairs outside of normal maintenance. Still looks almost new. I have used for many family trips, golf trips, pulling a almost 6000lb camper and it always does the job. This will be a sad truck to let go."

Pros: "Gives you a Tahoe feel and the power of a Pickup"

Cons: "Gas Mileage"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have had this truck for a month now. Second owner. It has 137,000 miles on it but you could never tell It runs like a champ. I purchased this car after flipping my Chevy Tahoe and I must say This is way better than the Tahoe. I have the convenience of a pick up and the feel of a Tahoe"

Pros: "Versatile strong 4WHL"

Cons: "UV protection poor for clear lens"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Comfortable, handles well at any speed, tows well, convenient drop down features allow hauling full plywood sheets. Mine has full vinyl wrap which avoids most door dents etc., descent mileage for a vehicle over 5,000#. Only problems have been light lens UV clouding, heater blower replaced twice, alternator replaced, tail light connector."

Does everything I need it to do!

Pros: "Fun to drive, Great looks"

Cons: "City MPG, Leather could be better, Cladding"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought my Avalanche 18 months ago with 85k on it and runs like the day it left the factory! Love the thought Chevy put into the truck such as the bed liner, side saddles, side step into the bed, mid-gate with removable back window! My truck has all the bells and whistles with comfortable leather 6 way power driver and passenger seats that are heated too! Only downsides is to keep it looking fresh I constantly have to apply back to black on the cladding but other than that fantastic truck! Also the City MPG is bad too at 13-14 city but on the highway I got low 20s with AC blasting which is not too bad for a 5.3l."
