Pros: "Fun to drive, Great looks"

Cons: "City MPG, Leather could be better, Cladding"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought my Avalanche 18 months ago with 85k on it and runs like the day it left the factory! Love the thought Chevy put into the truck such as the bed liner, side saddles, side step into the bed, mid-gate with removable back window! My truck has all the bells and whistles with comfortable leather 6 way power driver and passenger seats that are heated too! Only downsides is to keep it looking fresh I constantly have to apply back to black on the cladding but other than that fantastic truck! Also the City MPG is bad too at 13-14 city but on the highway I got low 20s with AC blasting which is not too bad for a 5.3l."

Pros: "Head-Turner / Sleek / Versatile / FUN / Easy Drive"

Cons: "MPG 13/15 (makes NO sense)"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased it "New" off the showroom floor. EXCELLENT VEHICLE!! FUN! I've received a Constant flow of Compliments since the 1st day I got it, to the present. NEGATIVES: 1- Replaced Transmission @ 65,000 miles 2- The "Fuel-to-Performance" ratio MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL! [MPG = 13/15]. I've owned it for 12 years. It gets the same MPG when traveling 600 miles w/ a FULL SIZED Trailer, as it does driving around town!! Makes NO sense to me. IF THE FUEL-TO-PERFORMANCE RATIO WAS CONGRUENT... IT WOULD BE A P-E-R-F-E-C-T All-Purpose Pick-up Truck. Superb~"

Pros: "320,000 miles, still running strong"

Cons: "Gas milage 16.5"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Such a great vehicle. Z71 package and four wheel drive has never left me stuck. I bought the 2005 truck in 2007 and loved it ever since. It currently has 320,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Love it but getting a little worried about how many miles are left in it before something expensive breaks. It's amazing how long a vehicle can last when the oil is changed every 3,000 miles. The truck's 320,000 miles speak for the self."

Pros: "Safe, fun to drive, very comfortable-heated seats"

Cons: "A BIG truck - too big for me to park easily"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This vehicle was purchased new in 2002 by my sister and her husband. She drove it to and from her park and ride in Crosby, Texas. In 2008 she retired and just drove around the neighborhood. Oil changes and other maintenance has always been consistent. She bought a new vehicle and sold it to me January 2014 - It is in very good condition. I love the heated seats! I have driven around Katy, Texas and took it on one road trip to Nashville, Tenn. It was great on a long trip, very comfortable and handles well in all weather. It is much more vehicle than I need and I have decided to sell it for a smaller vehicle that is easier for me to park (LOL)!"

"For as big as the truck is, there is limited truck bed capacity. Was great to carry plywood or drywall, before back covers started to leak. The SUV isn't all that comfortable for as big as the truck is. Good idea and they may make them better now, but a little disappointed in mine."
