"I grew up with a C/10, 3 on the tree regular cab. Liked the Original Landcruisers, so this quad cab does the job fitting family, friends and / or gear. There is lots of room to pull a gooseneck trailer with bicycles, coolers and gear in the longbed. It has adequate visibility through all windows and mirrors, a mirror adapter nearly eliminates blindspots. Haven't had any issues towing anything as I haven't need to pull anything over 10,000 lbs. Its not a hybrid so I don't expect to get high gas mileage, I get more mileage staying under 1900 rpm and braking well before I come to a compleat stop. When I am not pulling a gooseneck trailer a tonneau cover is usually on the bed to reduce drag. My truck is a stick shift instead of the automatic. I get over 600 miles driving between cities. The ride is comfortable, absorbs the roads well. I will add a full length ventilated moonroof and a sliding rear window. I'm using high mileage synthetic blend between oil changes. It's a TRUCK !!"
"I bought this for pulling a trailer, I was very happy how it pulled. It got around 20 miles per gallon. It was a little cheaper to maintain than the other diesels that I have owned. I have owned all the other diesels from other manufacturers and was happiest with this one. Had good luck with it as far as maintenance on it, mainly did oil changes at regular intervals. No big dollar fix's."
