Summary: As other manufacturers turned to developing carlike crossover SUVs, Kia introduced the midsize Borrego for the 2009 model year, complete with a truck-type body-on-frame design. While some may call the Borrego the SUV America didn't need, Kia touts it as a luxury SUV America can afford. Like other truck-type SUVs, the Kia Borrego is offered with V6 or V8 power and three rows of seats. It can tow up to 7,500 pounds and offers four-wheel drive for off-road capability.
