2009 Audi TTS: The Most Tempting TT Yet

Primarily because it's lighter and more fuel efficient, we prefer the Audi TT's 200-horsepower 2.0T engine to its 250-horsepower V6. So we were excited to learn that the highest-performance TT to date would be powered by a high-output version of the smaller engine -- one that delivers 272 horsepower and powers the TTS to 60 mph in a scant 5.2 seconds. Audi's S tronic dual-clutch gearbox is the only transmission choice and quattro all-wheel drive is standard, as is Audi's magnetic ride adaptive suspension system. The TTS will arrive in the fall of 2008. Pricing has not yet been announced.
