It's been a couple days since our first turn behind the wheel of the all-new 2009 BMW Z4, and we're still trying to manufacture shortcomings to ease our return to a life without it. We've yet to experience an electric power steering system we wouldn't trade for a good old-fashioned unit, but the new Z4's steering proved precise and communicative when it counted most, and just might stand the test of time.
