Britax Child Safety, Inc. has recalled certain versions of its Frontier child restraint, says the U.S. government. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administation (NHTSA), the straps on the restraint could fail to properly secure its occupant in a crash. Britax says the seats' shoulder straps may come free if repeatedly loosened one strap at a time and will provide owners with a repair kit. Some 30,000 restraints are involved recall.
