Pondering a new vehicle purchase? Looking for an easy, no-pressure way to gain some valuable time behind the wheel of not only your dream machine but several of its key rivals, as well? Then consider attending a Main Street in Motion event. Sponsored by General Motors, each of these three-day gatherings will allow participants to sample not only popular cars and trucks from the Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC brands but to have the equally important opportunity to drive them back-to-back against various competitive models from Dodge, Ford, Lexus, Toyota and other marques.

Main Street in Motion kicks off this weekend in Irvine, California, and will continue on through October, stopping in 20 cities across the country before finishing up in Seattle, Washington. It's all free, and anyone 18 or over with a valid driver's license is eligible to sign up -- or just show up -- for a Main Street in Motion event.
