Sadly, full-sized Corvettes will not be offered for bargain-basement prices. Rather, these are 1/14th scale models of the successful Pratt & Miller racing Corvettes: the 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning C6.R and the quarter-million dollar C6RS road-going supercar. The models are available in two versions: a battery powered radio-control model and a non-powered edition. They are produced by Ridemakerz and will be priced at $29 for the C6RS and $40 for the C6.R., with the remote controlled versions costing an additional $25. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Mitch Albom Dream Fund at the College of Creative Studies, which provides funding for underprivileged children to participate in arts programs.
