Making good on its recent promise to enhance the ownership experience for its premium Lincoln division, Ford announced a program that guarantees three years or 45,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance to anyone purchasing or leasing a new 2010 or 2011 Lincoln vehicle from now until Labor Day, September 7. In addition to covering the basics like vehicle inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and engine belts and hoses, it also encompasses wear items, including brake pads and wiper blades which normally are not covered by the standard vehicle warranty.
"Our commitment is to further grow the Lincoln brand and offer our luxury customers the premium experience they deserve and expect," said Ken Czubay, Ford Motor Company's vice president of U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service. "Our free scheduled maintenance offer marks only the first step in our plans to further upgrade the Lincoln experience." The announcement came just days after J.D. Power and Associates released its 2010 Initial Quality Study. The IQS data indicated that Lincoln recorded the greatest advance of any automotive brand in this area, jumping from 26th in 2009 to eighth place in the latest rankings.
