Buick Riviera Concept: Shanghai-Styled Stunner Wows

The product of a joint venture between GM and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) in China, the stunning Riviera Concept supposedly showcases GM's global design direction. While the name might be a blast from the past, you won't find any vinyl tops or gas-guzzling V8s here -- although designers did draw inspiration from past Buick styling elements like the "double-sweep spear" that appeared on Riviera coupes of the 60s and 70s. The Riviera Concept features a thoroughly modern powertrain in the form of a gas-electric hybrid system scheduled to enter production in China next year.
