The first official glimpse of GM's new generation of midsize pickups occurred at this week's Center for Automotive Research Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, Michigan. While offering no technical details on either the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado or its divisional sibling, the 2015 GMC Canyon, General Motors Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dan Ammann did say that these new trucks are designed to be capable, versatile and fuel-efficient alternatives to full-size pickups. Both are expected to offer buyers the choice of 4-cylinder or V6 power and rear- or four-wheel drive. Production of the Colorado and Canyon will take place at GM's Wentzville, Missouri, assembly center starting in 2014.
